Which products can be configured?

Anything with options: sofas and sectionals, kitchens and cabinetry, mattresses, doors and windows, office furniture, lighting, outdoor products. If it has components, finishes, rules and constraints, it can be modeled.

How does a configuration reach our cart, ERP or quoting system?

Accepted Answer

On completion the configurator hands over the full configuration, the price and a bill of materials. The iframe embed exposes functions and events for this, and the SDK does the same inside your own code, so your page passes them to the cart, the ERP or the quoting system you use.

Can dealers and sales teams use the same configurator?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each sales channel, your store, a dealer site, a marketplace or an internal sales tool, runs the same catalog with its own prices, visible options and embed link. A saved design becomes a share link and a quote that a dealer or rep can open and continue.

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the 3D models. Once the models and materials are ready, setup takes a few days for a simple product and a few weeks for one with complex rules and constraints, such as a kitchen: the catalog is imported from a spreadsheet and a folder of assets, or built with the AI agent, and options, prices and rules are set in the admin panel. Building or upgrading the 3D models is usually the longer part.

Do I need 3D models of every product?

Accepted Answer

One model per product, with its components and materials, is enough; the configurator assembles every combination from it. We build the models from CAD, drawings or samples if you do not have them.

Can the configurator show a price for every combination?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each option carries a price and the engine totals the configuration on every click, with different prices per sales channel if you need them. A finished design becomes a quote with a bill of materials.

How do we put the configurator on our site?

Accepted Answer

Three ways, all running the same catalog. Share a link: put it behind a button on your site or in a quote. Embed it: paste one iframe tag into any page, in your branding, on any platform that lets you add HTML. Or use the SDK when your team wants the configurator inside its own code and design.

Does it work with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce or our own store?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The configurator is embedded with one tag on Shopify, Magento and Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or a custom site, or rendered inside your storefront with the SDK. On completion the configured product and its price are handed to your cart through the iframe functions and events or the SDK.

Where do the rules, constraints and pricing run?

Accepted Answer

On the server, on every click. Each change a shopper makes is sent to the engine, which applies the rules, re-checks every constraint, prices the result and sends back one resolved state. The shopper only ever sees configurations that can be built, and a custom interface cannot bypass a rule or a constraint.

Can customers save a design, share it, get a quote and see it in AR?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A saved design gets a share link, a quote with the itemized price and bill of materials, and an AR link: the customer scans a QR code and sees the exact piece they built, at full size, in their own room.
